This week I did one of the activities for SDV 100, on 1/28/10 at 4:00pm i went to a workshop called "Money Management", the location was Massey/220/PRC and the sponsor was Megan B. Foster. I loved this work shop, it teach me a lot about credit cards, your credit history and how to manage your money being a student.
some of the things i learned were that having too many credit cards is not good for your credit history and that making your payment on time means a lot to your credit history, by doing this your credit history grows and get better, if this happens you would be able to buy a house easier, to buy a car, to get a loan and important things that we are going to need in the future. Also it is very important to be able to read an account statement and understand everything the bank or credit line is trying to tell you on that paper.
there are so many things we have to be aware of as an students, and grownups, we have to start thinking about our future and how to manage our money responsible.
